“In the late 1960s, Kent's work became more overtly political, protesting the Vietnam War and highlighting the struggle for civil rights that engulfed the nation. She moved away from manipulating type and instead directly reproduced the images she borrowed from the media. This early anti-war print still retains some of the playfulness of Kent's early style.”
